There are a vast number of talented illustrators around the world but skill in art is only one side of the spectrum needed to be a professional artist. It also takes strong organizational skills, a sense of self motivation, and most importantly, a background in business. Thankfully, I gained all of these skills as a creative director for a graphic design company and a freelance interface designer for the entertainment industry. As the natural progression goes, I am now standing on my own two feet, covering both the art and business aspects of being a successful artist.
